We love breakfast at One Handed Cooks! Eating a nutritious breakfast to start the day would have to be one of the best food habits you and your children could have. But, unfortunately a commercial wholegrain breakfast cereal that isn’t packed full of added sugars and salt is hard to find, making variety at breakfast times difficult. Personally, I love to make my own breakfast cereals – they are so easy to make, I can put exactly what I want in them and leave out what I don’t.

We’ve put together a list of a few of our favourite homemade breakfast cereals that are easily adaptable to suit tastes, ages and allergies, are perfect for making in bulk to save you time and money and are all nutritious options for your family. You can even freeze them.
