I made these for Harry’s party, but they turned out so cute I actually wrapped them in cellophane and put a ribbon around it for the party bags. Kids love them. So pretty.

Tip: I wrapped in cello with a ribbon and made cute party favours

Tip: These would be great to theme with single colour sprinkles, eek, imagine the possibilities

Ingredients

  • 1 pkt double cream Oreo's
  • 1 block cooking chocolate (milk or white)
  • 100's and 1000's
  • 1 pkt lollypop sticks

Method

Step 1

Melt the chocolate in a heatproof bowl over simmering water (or use a chocolate melting pot)  -

Step 2

Prepare a tray lined with baking paper, and fill a bowl with sprinkles  -

Step 3

Remove one side of the Oreo cookie and place stick in the filling (be careful the cookies are very delicate, you may need to carve out some cream with a sharp knife) -

Step 4

Put a small amount of melted chocolate in the cookie to help create a bond to the other cookie. Place the other Oreo cookie back on top - leave to bond for 10 minutes  -

Step 5

Dip or paste the Oreo cookie pop into the melted chocolate -

Step 6

Once both sides are covered in chocolate, dip into the sprinkles and lay flat to set -
