Watermelon fruit ‘pizza’

Spring is here at last! And after months of colds and flu’s we are welcoming it with open arms. To celebrate, we are making these gorgeous Watermelon fruit pizza’s. The kids find these watermelon pizza’s so enticing and they love to sprinkle on the toppings themselves. Don’t forget to use the leftover watermelon to make our Watermelon icy poles which are so good to have in the freezer for a hot day.

Nutrition Note: Bursting with fresh flavour and antioxidants it’s hard to find a healthier pizza than this!

  • 1/2 Watermelon
  • 1/4 Cup Blueberries
  • 1 Banana
  • ½ cup strawberries
  • 1 kiwi fruit
  • ½ cup finely sliced rockmelon
  • ¼ cup natural yoghurt
  • 3 tbsp dried coconut


Step 1

Slice the watermelon into 8 equal triangles to make a ‘pizza’ shape. -

Step 2

Prepare the fruit and slice into to small pieces to use as toppings. -

Step 3

Top your pizza slices with fruit, sprinkle over the coconut and drizzle the yoghurt on top. -

Step 4

Serve to the kids, much to their delight. -
