Banana Avocado Smash

There are endless possibilities when pureeing food combinations for your baby and some are incredibly simple to make. When you introduce your baby to a wide variety of flavour combinations it helps to develop taste buds, encourage food acceptance, and discourage fussy eating. Banana and avocado work really well together and it is a simple combination that can be made instantly from fresh produce.

Nutrition Note: Avocado is high in monounsaturated fat (a healthy fat), and bananas are rich in carbohydrates, so along with the many other important nutrients they provide, this is a winning combination for growing babies.

  • ¼ avocado flesh


Step 1

Fork mash the banana and avocado together until you reach desired consistency. -
