Fancy some free fuel? Just in time for the silly season.

To celebrate the launch of our new Magazine ‘One Handed Cooks’ we are giving you the chance to WIN 1 of 5 $100 BP fuel cards. The magazine gives parents recipes and lifestyle choices that are proven to have beneficial results in their child’s development and wellbeing; whether they are a baby, toddler or primary school aged. What else do busy parents need around this time of year? Fuel, free fuel, for all the exciting outings such as Santa, Christmas lights and family holidays, Yippie.

HOW TO ENTER?

Please read carefully to ensure your entry is valid:

  1. You must have an AUSTRALIAN POSTAL ADDRESS
  2. Entries open at 9:00am AEST on 02nd December 2013 and close at 11:59pm AEST on 16th December 2013
  3. You must share a picture of the new One Handed Cooks magazine cover* on your Instagram** or Facebook*** page, using the hashtag #onehandedcooksmag AND tell us in 25 words or less “What’s your favourite meal to cook for the family and why?”
  4. You must include the hashtag #onehandedcooksmag within your post
  5. This is a game of skill. The winners will be awarded based on the strength and creativity of their answer to the question
  6. Giveaway. FIVE WINNERS will be chosen and tagged on their FB or Instagram entry and names will also be announced right here on the blog.

TERMS & CONDITIONS: “BP Fuel Card” competition

From the LAUNCH ISSUE of One Handed Cooks Magazine only. Entry into this competition is deemed to be an acceptance of these terms and conditions.

To enter this competition, entrants must: a) share a picture of the cover of Issue 1 of One Handed Cooks magazine on their own Instagram or Facebook page, using the hashtag #onehandedcooksmag and tell us in 25 words or less “What’s your favourite meal to cook for the family and why?”

Before sharing the picture, entrants must ensure the privacy settings for their social media accounts FOR THIS POST ONLY are set to “public” to enable that picture to be viewed by anyone; otherwise the entry is not valid. b) Entrants can also submit their entry via email by emailing their picture along with their full name, address and phone number, to allie@onehandedcooks.com.au

Entries open at 9:00am AEST on 02nd December 2013 and close at 11:59pm AEST on 16th December 2013.

Entry in this competition is open to Australian residents only (aged 18 years and over). Employees and their immediate families of the Promoter, its related entities and agencies associated with this promotion are ineligible. There will be 5 x winners, determined by The One Handed Cooks team based on the creativity and quality of the entries. The decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.

This is a game of skill and chance plays no part in it. The competition will be judged on 17th December 2013 (AEST). If a winner is under the age of 18 years the prize will be awarded to their parent or legal guardian. The winners will be announced on Thursday 19th December 2013.

The winners will also be notified by email or via social media, depending on the method of entry used by the winner to enter the competition. The winner must supply to the Promoter an Australian mailing address for the prize/s to be delivered by the 23rd December 2013. If the winner does not contact the Promoter by close of business on  23rd December 2013 the winner is deemed to have forfeit the prize/s and another winner for the competition will be chosen based on the criteria set out in these terms and conditions.

By entering this competition, entrants consent to their entries in the form of photographs being published in One Handed Cooks magazine or any other publication as the Promoter determines. The entrant grants the Promoter a perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free licence to publish, produce, distribute and communicate the images of the original entry in One Handed Cooks magazine or any other publication as the Promoter determines, for the purpose of publicising and promoting the One Handed Cooks brand and www.onehandedcooks.com.au competitions.

The chosen competition winner(s) will receive the following as their prize: 1 x $100 BP Fuel Card. (Total prize pool is valued at $500). Prize values are the recommended retail value as provided by the supplier and are correct at time of printing. All prize values are in Australian dollars. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any variation in the value of the prizes.

Prizes will be delivered to the winner within 3 months of the winner notifying the Promoter of their Australian mailing address. Delivery within Australia, not installation, is included with all prizes. Prizes are not transferable or redeemable for cash.

Once the prize has left the Promoter’s premises, the Promoter is no longer responsible for any late or misdirected prizes other than due to the negligence of the Promoter. The Promoter reserves the right to substitute any prize with a prize of equal or greater value if the prize is for some reason unavailable and subject to gaming authority approval.

It is the entrant’s responsibility to advise the Promoter of any change of personal details. The Promoter reserves the right to request the winner to provide proof of identity, proof of age and proof of residency at the nominated prize delivery address. Identification considered suitable for verification is at the discretion of the Promoter.

Prize winners are advised that tax implications may arise from their prize winnings and they should seek independent financial advice prior to the acceptance of the prize.

The Promoter is not liable for any failure of receipt of entries. The Promoter takes no responsibility for any entries that are lost, delayed, illegible, corrupted, damaged, incomplete or otherwise invalid. Further, the Promoter is not liable for technical, hardware, or software failures of any kind or lost or unavailable network connections which may limit or prohibit an eligible entrant’s ability to participate in this competition.

Competition entrants acknowledge that this promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by or associated with Facebook.

If this promotion is interfered with in any way or is not capable of being conducted as reasonably anticipated due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter, the Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to the fullest extent permitted by law (a) to disqualify any entrant; or (b) to modify, suspend, terminate or cancel the promotion.

The Promoter does not exclude any rights and remedies in respect of goods or services under the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth) or equivalent State or Territory legislation which cannot be excluded, restricted or modified. However, the Promoter exclude all rights, remedies, guarantees, conditions and warranties in respect of goods or services from an entrant’s entry into this competition whether based in statute, common law or otherwise to the extent permitted by law.
