Smooth pumpkin & lentil puree

- 1 cup chopped pumpkin
- ½ cup tinned brown lentils, no added salt, drained and rinsed
Place the pumpkin in a streamer tray over a saucepan of boiling water, cover and steam for 5-8 minutes or until soft. Combine the pumpkin and lentils and puree until smooth
Tip: try roasting your pumpkin pieces for even more flavour. -
