Fruit ‘n’ yoghurt fondue

Many children love fresh fruit but some don’t and prefer drinking fruit juice instead. You can read more about why babies and toddlers don’t need fruit juice here. Drinking fruit juice should never be thought of as an alternative to eating the real thing, so what to do if your child won’t eat fresh fruit? A good way is by involving them in the fresh fruit and vegetable shopping, allowing them to pick out fruits they want to eat and allowing them help in preparing it to eat. Being creative with the way fresh fruit is presented and offered can also help them to eat and enjoy it.

Fruit ‘n’ yoghurt fondue is a wonderful and fun way to encourage children to try fruit without the need to hide it. It also looks pretty sweet and makes a great healthy snack for any party table – you can add small slices of pancake too.

Nutrition Note: Children love to dip. Serving chopped fruit in a new and fun way can tempt fussy eaters to enjoy their fruit.
