Does anyone else feel the same nervous anticipation as I do when trying new foods with their bub? Over the past couple of weeks I have started introducing some legumes and different grains to George and varying the texture of his food. So far so good! I mixed some of this lentil and veggie mash with some pumpkin puree for George and to my delight he loved it.
Tip: To make a more creamy/smoother mash – puree half of the mixture, mash the remaining mixuture and combine together.
Nutrition Note: When buying canned lentils or legumes look out for ‘no added salt’ varieties.
