Honey Carrot Chips

I would very happily gobble these up for afternoon tea so it’s no surprise Harry loves them. They remind me of honey glazed carrots mum used to make us when we were kids. Crispy, sweet and classic, what’s not to love?

These are perfect when you are out and about with your kids and need a to buy a few more minutes.

(I left mine in a minute too long in this pic, go for golden not black – ha).

Ingredients

  • 1 carrot, peeled and cut into 5mm thick rounds
  • 1 tbs butter, melted
  • 1 tbs honey

Method

Step 1

Preheat your oven to 180°C -

Step 2

Combine the butter and honey in a bowl -

Step 3

Lay the carrot chips on the baking paper. Drizzle the honey mixture over the top -

Step 4

Bake chips for 5 minutes, turn, bak for a further 5 minutes or until golden -

      They’re best eaten fresh or on the same day stored in an airtight container 🙂 Ax
