Sometime ago I found myself on national television telling kids to eat their greens.  It was just a tad embarrassing, but I do hope that maybe a few took me seriously and love tucking into the yummy green vegetables on their dinner plates.  After reading Allie’s fabulous posts on fussy eating I would love to avoid having to “hide” green vegies in Georges’s food.  So far he has loved broccoli, especially mixed with pumpkin, but there’s no hiding the greens in this baby puree.  Yum yum!,

Feel free to change the variety of vegetables in this puree. Just one rule. They must all be green!

Nutrition note: Green leafy vegetables such as broccoli are often labelled a superfood.  They are packed with health promoting antioxidants, rich in valuable nutrients including folate, beta carotene, fibre, vitamin C and they contain iron.

I don’t eat greens at all (bad I know) but my daughter loves this. I recommend it!

Boil your green vegetables for a minute and cool them quickly in icy water before resuming cooking to keep their fresh green color.
